Eating Your Own Cat Food

PK Tech and the Arizona Humane Society (AHS) have a special connection through a shared vision that every pet deserves a good life.  Mary Hetrick, wife of PK Tech owner Jordan Hetrick, works for AHS as their Events & Partnerships Specialist.

PK Tech recently started a program where referrals to local businesses will generate a $100 donation to AHS. But we’re always  looking to do more.

Last month, we (Jordan & Mary) became “Foster Heroes” and began fostering an orphaned kitten also known as a “Bottle Baby”.

Meet Chuck (pictured below). Chuck was “chucked” out a car window by a heartless person and left for dead. An AHS staff member luckily discovered the orphaned kitten and brought him to the AHS campus. Chuck was added to the foster list and Mary signed us up! Chuck, and many other animals, need foster families so they can thrive and hope to find a good home.

When we became “Foster Heroes” for Chuck, he came home with all the necessary items which included instructions, food, scale, and crate. We’ve had him for a couple of weeks and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

PK Tech is committed to partnering with the Arizona Humane Society in an effort to give back to our local community. As a local small business, we believe in supporting the Greater Phoenix Area. A cause that is near and dear to our hearts, we are proud to be supporting animal well-being as our first initiative to give back through referrals to PK Tech.
