Launch the free version of Slack now to communicate with coworkers and employees who are all now working remote. With 10k searchable messages, 10 apps and integrations, 1-to-1 video calls and two-factor authentication, the free version gives your team access to all of Slack’s basic features.
Are you a small business with tons of free time on your hands? Now might be the time you’re considering updating some of your sales and marketing collateral. The free version of Canva gives you access to hundreds of customizable templates for social media, sales collateral, and more.
Looking to implement a task management solution while you have the time and energy to get it set-up for your team? Asana is a great free tool to track projects, processes and timelines.
1Password is offering 1Password Business, its enterprise password manager (EPM), for free for the first six months to ease digital security concerns of businesses.
Salesforce is offering packages of tools and services for companies in any industry to help them stay connected to employees, customers and partners during the pandemic crisis. Tools can be added on for existing Salesforce customers or they’re available for free to noncustomers for a limited time as well.
Adobe is allowing its educational customers to request free home access for students and teachers to its Creative Cloud suite of tools. This will be available through May 31. Adobe has also made its web conferencing service, Adobe Connect, free for schools, businesses and government agencies on 90-day licenses that can run until July 1.
Businesses that are experiencing a sharp decline in their revenues can get a free, three-month subscription to the service to run payables and receivables remotely.
While integration with some video conferencing services such as Zoom and GoToMeeting used to be an extra charge, Calendly is now offering these services for free. The company is also offering unpaid access to its premium service for teams working on projects to tackle COVID-19.
Google Cloud announced free access to its advanced Hangouts Meet video conferencing capabilities for all customers in its G-Suite and G-Suite for Education services. This enables calls of up to 250 people and also allows meetings to be recorded and saved on Google Drive.
Through July 1, Hootsuite is offering free access to its professional product for nonprofits and small businesses most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, who can use it to engage with their audiences and manage crisis communications.
