RELEASE: PK Tech Completes Cyber Verify™ Certification
Cyber Verify Level 2 300x300 1

Phoenix, Arizona, March 28, 2023 — PK Tech announced that it has successfully completed the MSPAlliance’s Cyber Verify™ Level 2 certification process, the oldest certification program for cloud computing and managed services providers. PK Tech is the first company headquartered in Arizona to obtain this certification. The Cyber Verify certification is based on the Unified Certification Standard for Cloud and Managed Service Providers and developed by the International Association of Cloud and Managed Service Providers.

The Unified Certification Standard for Cloud and Managed Service Providers currently covers ten objectives or topical areas relevant to practicing MSPs:

  • UCS Objective 1 – Governance
  • UCS Objective 2 – Policies & Procedures
  • UCS Objective 3 – Confidentiality, Privacy, and Service Transparency
  • UCS Objective 4 – Change Management
  • UCS Objective 5 – Service Operations Management
  • UCS Objective 6 – Information Security
  • UCS Objective 7 – Data and Device Management
  • UCS Objective 8 – Physical Security
  • UCS Objective 9 – Billing and Reporting
  • UCS Objective 10 – Corporate Health

Less than 3% of the MSPs worldwide possess a Cyber Verify (or equivalent) certification or audit. Those MSPs with the Cyber Verify certification service both SMB, mid-market, and enterprise clients, including organizations across many vertical markets, including financial services, banking, healthcare, education, legal, government, and more.

“The Cyber Verify certification is a rigorous process that benchmarks and verifies the quality of the company providing cloud and managed services,” said Celia Weaver, MSPAlliance’s president. “We are very proud to have PK Tech as a member of this elite community of MSPs and cloud providers.”

Upon completing and submitting the required documentation, the results are evaluated by an independent third-party accounting firm for verification and signing of a public-facing report.

“It’s an honor to complete this competitive program for Cyber Verify. Completing this program provides greater verification of the quality of the cloud and managed services PK Tech provides. As we continue to strive to be on the cutting edge of how we support our clients, the MSP Verify Program is a great step towards that goal,” said PK Tech founder Jordan Hetrick.
