Phoenix, AZ, September 1, 2026. PK Tech has completed its third consecutive SOC 2 Type II audit, covering a twelve month audit period.
Insight Assurance, an independent CPA firm, examined PK Tech's controls over that period and issued the report. It covers the controls PK Tech applies to client systems, including access management, monitoring, change control, and incident response.
A SOC 2 report evaluates a service provider's internal controls against the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
A Type II report tests whether those controls operated effectively across the full audit period, not just whether they existed on a single day. That distinction is why enterprise procurement teams ask for it by name.
Only a small share of Arizona managed service providers complete a SOC 2 Type II audit in any given year. Most of the accredited providers are headquartered outside of Arizona, owned by private equity firms, and cater to large corporate clients.
